YOUTH INFORMATION CENTRE – CITIZEN INFORMATION CENTRE

The Youth Information Centre - Citizen Information Centre aims at providing information and first approach supports in order to allow citizens to make the most appropriate and informed choices  with respect to their future. The service provides all citizens with free information and orientation to fill up the needs of acquiring information on different areas of interest from health issues, to the rights of citizens, social solidarity, sport, leisure, information on the employment, education and training, etc..Fotografia Informagiovani di Oristano

La strategia che unifica il servizio è quella di offrire un'informazione trasversale, che, potenzialmente, possa soddisfare tutte le necessità informative dell'utente permettendone un migliore inserimento nella vita sociale tramite l'aumento delle conoscenze, delle possibilità e potenzialità individuali. Al fine di supportare la Pubblica Amministrazione nell’avvio di servizi che rispondano al diritto d’informazione dei cittadini, la Cooperativa Sociale Studio e Progetto 2 Onlus, a fronte di un’esperienza quasi ventennale, garantisce un’estrema flessibilità e modularità delle soluzioni disponibili consentendo a qualsiasi Pubblica Amministrazione – Comuni di piccole, medie e grandi dimensioni, Unioni di Comuni, Province, Regioni, Comunità Montane, ASL di scegliere e personalizzare le soluzioni che meglio si adattano alla propria organizzazione e alle proprie risorse.

HOW TO START-UP THE SERVICE

In order to ensure the startup of a Youth Information - Citizen Information Service it’s necessary to provide with:

     A place preferably located at street level with private entrance and possibly equipped with windows to allow a pleasant stay inside the centre and an easy identification of the different information zones,


     Data Bases;
     Hardcopy archives;
     Notice boards;
     Newspaper Library.


Requirements for service start-up

     N.1 station supplied with PC (software, printer);
     ADSL connection;
     Fax;
     Telephone;
     Photocopier.

ORGANIZATION

Studio e Progetto 2 is a not-for-profit organization operating since 1992 throughout the region. Over the years it has undertaken collaborative relationships with about 80 different Public Administrations providing them with services in order to satisfy their needs and ensure them high-quality standards with particular attention to:

  •      Selection, training and constant retraining of employees.
  •      Creation and maintenance of local networks at regional, national and international level;
  •      Development of an IT system (Metropolis Web) aimed to ensure up-to-date, understandable and reliable information to the users;


The constant attention of our Co-operative to customer satisfaction  (both clients and users of services) has pushed us to implement a quality management system aiming at ensuring the implementation of validated procedures and processes, the definition of objectives, the identification of indicators and the monitoring management and actions for a continuous improvement. Thus, in 2005 the co-operative has obtained the quality certification in conformity with UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 for the “Management of Information and counseling services (Youth Information Service- Citizen Information Service) directed to citizens on behalf of public authorities.". The quality certification has been renewed in 2010 in conformity with UNI EN ISO 2001:2008

The Co-operative ensure compliance with employment rights legislation in terms of privacy, safety at work and contracts while implementing its services and activities


Costs


The costs for service start-up must take into account the needs expressed by the Administrations. Below are some possible solutions:

  • Stationery and other consumable items;
  • Subscription to newspapers, magazines and periodicals
